Manufacturer: Combier Imp. Macon – 10 postcards in a booklet.
The 10 postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of Combier Imp. Macon come from a postcard booklet. These booklets were quite popular at one time in France. I now have nine of them related to Vence but I’m sure there must be more. The other eight are manufactured by Cie des Arts Photomécaniques, Collection La Cigogne, Edition Pleint, Etablissements Frédéric Laugier, Les Belles Editions Françaises, Photos P. Eggermont, Rostan & Munier and Munier Editeur d’Art.
This booklet features 10 postcards, all related to Vence. They all have a black and white image on the front. All the information for each card can be found on the back including, a location and a short description. There are no numbers.
What’s especially interesting about this booklet is that when you tear out a postcard to mail you are left with a smaller version as a keepsake. The cover of the booklet describes this as “10 Cartes-Chèques en Bromure.”
There is no address listed anywhere.
This company, Combier Imp. Macon, is the same company as listed elsewhere on the site with the same name, where individual cards are featured.
