Manufacturer: Rostan & Munier – 11 postcards in a booklet.
The 11 postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of Rostan & Munier come from a postcard booklet. These booklets were quite popular at one time in France. I now have four of them related to Vence but I’m sure there must be more. The other three are manufactured by Edition Pleint, Collection La Cigogne and Munier Editeur d’Art.
This booklet features 12 postcards (one is missing) all of which have a dark sepia tinted image on the front as well as a location, a short description and a number. What’s different about this booklet is that it also features a few cards from neighboring Saint-Paul-de-Vence (known only as Saint-Paul then). There are 8 cards from Vence and 3 from Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
The backs of the cards are all identical and provide no further information.

This company, Rostan & Munier, is the same company as listed elsewhere on the site as Rostan & Munier – Éditions d’Art. In fact, a few of the cards are identical to stand-alone cards in my collection.I have chosen to list this booklet separately to make it easier to find and view.
