Manufacturer: Lévy et Neurdein Réunis – 27 postcards.
The postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of Lévy et Neurdein Réunis all have pretty much the same layout and design.
Most of the cards feature a sepia tinted photograph on the front, though one has a hand tinted color photograph and another a black and white photograph. The front of every card contains a location, a short description and a number (except one where the number is on the back). There seem to be three number series: those running from 15 to 88, from 908 to 912 and one card with the number 1306. The location is always followed by the letters “LL” or “ND.” I’m not sure what these mean though I have seen them on other cards as well.
Some cards contain the text “Edition E. Bonjean” on the front, while two feature “Edition E. Bonjean – Selecta.” One features the text “Cagnoli, papeterie, Vence – Selecta” on the front.
Several of the cards also contain the following information on the front:
Altitude : 325 m. – Climat marin atténué – Station touristique d’Hiver et d’Eté
No further information is found on the backs of the cards (though as noted above the location, description and number for one card is found on the back, not the front).
The backs of the cards all have the same layout, except for one which is only slightly different.
All of the cards contain the same address on the back:
LEVY ET NEURDEIN REUNIS, 44 RUE LETELLIER, PARIS, IMP.
It’s possible that this manufacturer is related to another with 16 cards in this collection, Levy Fils et Cie. Both were based in Paris. It’s also possible that they are related to still another manufacturer with 3 cards in this collection, Imp. Phot. Neurdein et Cie.
