A vintage 64 page booklet containing a large, tri-color fold-out map of Antibes.

I recently published a downloadable PDF of another, similar map and booklet, one for Nice from 1962. This booklet/map for Antibes was published in 1959 and although it was created by a different company, Editions H. Boyer, it covers much of the same things as the booklet/map from Nice.
Titled Guide-Poche Antibes – Juan les Pins-Le Cap it contains a large, tri-color fold-out map measuring 48cm wide by 63cm tall. The booklet (measuring 14cm by 10cm) contains a short history of Antibes, a list of nearby hikes and excursions, practical information, bus schedules, hotels and a full listing of all the streets in Antibes. There a several small illustrations and maps along with a variety of vintage advertisements. As the name implies it was designed to be a guide to Antibes (and neighboring Juan les Pins and the Cap d’Antibes) that you could carry in your pocket.
As with the Nice booklet/map everything is in French, of course, but don’t let that detour you. This little book is quite fascinating and the map is beautiful.
