Manufacturer: Photochromie A.D.I.A. – 8 postcards.
The postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of Photochromie A.D.I.A. have essentially the same format.
The front of each card features a hand colored tinted photograph, along with a location, a short description and a number. The altitude of Vence (325m) is also listed on each card. There is no further information on the backs of the cards which are all almost identical. A small logo is also found on the back of each of card.
This partial address is found on the back of each of the cards:
PHOTOCHROMIE A.D.I.A. – (St-ROCH) NICE (A.M.)
One card lists the address as:
Impr. A.D.I.A. – 55, ch. de St-Roch – NICE
Though the name of the company is slightly different it would seem to be the same company as the address and number series both match the other cards.
It’s possible that this company is related to two other companies in this collection: Phototypie A.D.I.A. with 3 cards and Photocouleur A.D.I.A. with 1 card. In addition to having similar names they all have similar addresses.
