Manufacturer: A.D.I.A. – Nice – 7 postcards.
The postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of A.D.I.A. – Nice feature a variety of designs and layouts.
The front of some cards features a black and white sepia image with a name and location, while some have a hand tinted color image. The back of one card contains some further information. Some cards have a series number and others do not. The cards are completely different in style and layout and one features an ADIA Nice logo on the back. It’s the name alone which causes me to group these cards together. Several of the cards are listed as “Impr. A.D.I.A.” while others are simply “A.D.I.A.”
No address is listed on the cards other than Nice (though one also says St-Roch and (A.M.).
It’s possible that this company is related to three other companies with cards in this collection: Photochromie A.D.I.A., Photocouleur A.D.I.A. and Phototypie A.D.I.A.. In addition to having similar names they all have similar addresses.
