The postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of ND Phot all have pretty much the same design and format, with a few small differences here and there.
Most of the cards feature a sepia tinted photograph on the front, though one has a hand tinted color photograph and another a black and white photograph. The front of every card contains a location, a short description and a number. Sometimes the name of the company on the front is written as “ND Phot,” sometimes as “ND. Phot.” and sometimes as “ND Phot.” On one card the phrase “Paul Raynard, tabacs” is also present.
No other information is found on the backs of the cards, which all have the same basic design although it changes a few times. On one design the word Post Card is written in French, English, German, Dutch, Estonian, Italian, Spanish and why might be Slovenian.
There is no address anywhere on any of the cards.
It’s possible that this manufacturer is related to another with 3 cards in this collection, Imp. Phot. Neurdein et Cie as two of those cards contain “ND. Phot.” on the front. Same with another company, Neurdein Frères with 2 cards in this collection which also both contain an “ND. Phot” logo on the front.
