STEVE AND CAROLE IN VENCE

Vence Postcards
Cagnoli Papeterie

Manufacturer: Cagnoli Papeterie – 6 postcards.

There are just four postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of Cagnoli Papeterie.

The front of each card features a black and white image, a number, a location and a description. The letters “LL” are also included. At this point I’m not sure what they represent though I see them on other cards as well. No further information is found on the backs of the cards which are all basically identical.

A partial address is listed on the front of the cards as:

Cagnoli, Papeterie, Vence

It’s possible that this manufacturer may be the same as, or related to, another one by the name of Edition Cagnoli. There is also a strong possibility that this company is related to another named Levy Fils et Cie. Three of the cards manufactured by Cagnoli Papeterie use the exact same photo, number and description as three in the Levy Fils et Cie collection (#1, #11 and #20). The difference being those in the Levy Fils et Cie collection are usually hand tinted.

If you have any questions about any of the cards featured here, if you see any errors or if you would like more information, drop me an email at steve@steveandcaroleinvence.com.
