The postcards in this collection manufactured under the name of Braun & Cie, Imp. have similar, but not exactly the same, formats.
The front of most of the cards features a sepia toned image though a few are black and white. No information is provided on the front of the cards. The back contains a series number and a description. The phrase “Vence-la-Jolie” is used on most, but not all, of the cards. The cards all seem to be from the same series with numbers running from 298 through 381.
The following is also found on all but one of the cards:
COLLECTION « LA COTE D’AZUR » CLICHÉ MANIEZZI, NICE
On three of the cards the phrase changes to:
COLLECTION « LA COTE D’AZUR » J. MANIEZZI, ANTIBES – REPRODUCTION INTERDITE
The same address is listed on each card:
BRAUN & Cie, Imp.-Edit., Mulhouse-Dornach
The design of the backs of all the cards are basically identical.
